Plaintiffs Veronica Mercado and Cesar Mercado (collectively “Plaintiffs”) filed this personal injury action against Defendants Cardinale Protective Service, Inc. dba Coast BMW and Joshua Wilkins (collectively “Defendants”), on April 12, 2017. This action arises out of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on April 17, 2015, on the southbound US-101 freeway, south of Spyglass Drive in San Luis Obispo County. A jury trial is currently set in this matter on January 22, 2019.
Plaintiffs move here pursuant to California Rules of Court, rule 3.1332 for a trial continuance. Defendants oppose the motion.1
