Plaintiff Maria E. Villasenor’s Motion for Judgment on the Pleadings is TAKEN OFF CALENDAR.

“Before filing a motion for judgment on the pleadings pursuant to this chapter, the moving party shall meet and confer in person or by telephone with the party who filed the pleading that is subject to the motion for judgment on the pleadings for the purpose of determining if an agreement can be reached that resolves the claims to be raised in the motion for judgment on the pleadings.” (Code Civ. Proc., § 439(a).) A declaration regarding meet and confer efforts must be filed with the motion for judgment on the pleadings. (See id., § 439(a)(3).)

On January 16, 2018, the Court continued the hearing on the instant motion to February 20, 2018, finding Plaintiff filed the motion without a meet and confer declaration pursuant to CCP section 439(a). The Court ordered Plaintiff to meet and confer with Defendant and to file a meet and confer declaration by February 5, 2018. There are no indications Pla
