Explanation:
These actions both stem from a motor vehicle accident which occurred on December 4, 2015 in unincorporated Fresno County (near Waterside Drive and North Quail Lake Drive). The plaintiffs in both cases allege that Adrian Guerrero was struck by a vehicle driven by Iain Owens but owned by Richard L. Owens, II and Jennifer Owens and that the property on which the incident occurred was owned by Quail Lake Community Association (“Quail Lake”). By this motion, Quail Lake, a defendant in the 16CECG03895 action, seeks to consolidate the two actions. According to the evidence before the Court, the other parties had stipulated to a consolidation, but Quail Lake objected to some of the language in the stipulation with respect to scheduling matters.
