Nature of Proceedings: Freedom from Parental Control
I have now received the Court Investigator’s (“CI’s”) report filed on October 19, 2009. I have read it. A hearing needs to be set.
Ruling:
1. The Court will set a hearing date for November 17, 2009 on the issue of mother’s request to terminate father’s parental rights. Mother’s response to the CI’s report and to father’s response, filed on 9/17/09, must be served and filed by November 3. Father’s response to mother’s request and to the CI’s report must be served and filed by November 10; mother’s reply to be served and filed by November 12 at noon.
2. The parties will advise the Court of any and all issues he or she wants the Court to address on November 17.
3. Both parties need to be familiar with “the applicable provisions” of Family Code §7822 and §7825.
