Biography

The Hon. William C. Robinson is a judge for the Butler County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He was elected to the bench on November 5, 2019.

Prior to his election, Robinson worked as an attorney in private practice, specializing in family law matters for more than thirty years. During this time, he also worked as a solicitor for Diane Marburger, Butler County Treasurer.

Robinson earned a bachelor’s degree from Allegheny College. He then completed a J.D. at Vermont Law School in 1988.

His memberships have included the Theodore K. Vogeley Scholarship Selection Committee and the Tax Assessment Board of Appeals. He is also the co-owner of the Butler BlueSox.

Raised in Butler, Pennsylvania, Robinson attended Butler Junior High School and Butler High School. His great-grandfather, the Hon. John R. Henninger, served as a judge for the Butler County Court of Common Pleas in the 1920s.
