Judge Travis L. Clowers: Professional Background and Legal Expertise

The Hon. Travis L. Clowers is a judge for the Posey County Superior Court in Indiana. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Eric Holcomb on March 28, 2019, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Brent Almon.

Prior to his appointment, Clowers was the County Prosecutor for Posey County, a position to which he was named in 2011. Before that, he spent time as a deputy prosecuting attorney for the Brown County Prosecutor’s Office and the Vanderburgh County Prosecutor’s Office.

Clowers earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana. He then completed a J.D. at Florida Coastal School of Law in 2008.
