The Hon. Tiffany Foxworth-Roberts is a judge for the 19th Judicial District Court of Louisiana. She was elected to the bench in 2020.
The 19th Judicial District includes East Baton Rouge Parish. While on the bench, Foxworth-Roberts helped launch “Reading in the Robe” to promote literacy and reading.
Before joining the bench, she handled divorce matters as an attorney at the Foxworth Law Firm.
She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Southern University School of Nursing in 2001. Foxworth-Roberts then completed a J.D. at Southern University Law Center in 2005.
Her memberships include the Louisiana Judges Association; the National Association of Women Judges; the Louisiana State Bar Association; the Louisiana State Nursing Association; the National Bar Association; the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; the Junior League of Baton Rouge; and Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
A registered nurse, Foxworth-Roberts, and her husband, Dr. Jonathan J. Roberts, MD, an Internal Medicine Specialist, co-host a weekly radio show to raise awareness on the importance of prevention, early detection, and intervention. The couple has one daughter.
She served as an enlisted soldier and an officer in the United States Army Nurse Corps (2004 to 2010).
Foxworth-Roberts is registered as a Democrat.
