Hon. Tammy S. Somers is a magistrate for the Hendricks County Superior Court in Indiana. She was appointed to the bench in 2013.
Prior to her appointment, Somers worked as a deputy attorney general with the Office of the Attorney General of Indiana. Before that, she served as a magistrate for the Lake County Superior Court and a deputy prosecutor with the Lake County Prosecutor’s Office.
Somers completed a J.D. at Valparaiso University School of Law. She was admitted to practice in Indiana in 2001.
She sat on the Special Courts Committee of the Judicial Conference of Indiana.
