The Hon. Sandra A. Sutton is a magistrate for the Waverly District of the Richland County Summary Court in South Carolina.
The summary court presides over landlord/tenant hearings, summons and complaint cases (to claim disputed funds), claim and delivery cases (to reclaim property), and public sales of abandoned vehicles. Its magistrates also hear criminal and traffic cases, issue warrants and set bonds, and hold preliminary hearings and transfer cases for the county.
Sutton earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of South Carolina in 1992. She then completed a J.D. at the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1995.
Raised in Columbia, South Carolina, Sutton attended Columbia High School.
