Biography

Sally Loehrer (Ret.) was a judge for the Eighth Judicial District Court in Clark County, Nevada. She served on the bench from 1993 to 2008. After her retirement, she became a senior judge of the Court.


Loehrer received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Wisconsin State University, River Falls in 1969. She went on to earn a J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1975.


After serving as a prosecutor with the Clark County District Attorney’s Office, Loehrer left the public sector to join Wanderer & Wanderer.


While on the bench, she presided over civil and criminal trials. As a senior judge, she has held assignments in all divisions of the Eighth Judicial District Court.


Loehrer served as a past-president of both the Clark County Bar Association and the Nevada District Judges Association. She also served as a founding member of the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys.
