Judge Robert W. Lueck - Professional Background & Legal Expertise

Biography

Robert W. Lueck (Ret.) was a judge of the Eighth Judicial District Court in Clark County, Nevada. He assumed the bench in 1999 and retired from his seat in 2004.

Lueck received a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School.

After law school, he entered into private general practice in 1976. During that time, his areas of practice included criminal law, bankruptcy, personal injury, and civil and family law.

Then, in 1981, he opened his own solo practice, where he specialized in the practice of family law.

While on the bench, Lueck presided on the Family Court.

Upon leaving the bench, he returned to solo practice and also served as an ADR mediator and arbitrator.

His memberships have included the State Bar of Nevada, International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, and Association of Family Law and Conciliation Courts. He was the founding member of the Collaborative Professionals of Nevada.

Lueck is a long-time resident of Las Vegas, Nevada.
