Biography

The Hon. Ricardo C. Jackson (Ret.) served as a judge for the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. Jackson was elected to the bench in 1978. He retired in 2005 and continued to preside as a senior judge.


Jackson earned a B.A. from Virginia Union University in 1962. He then completed a J.D. at Howard University School of Law in 1965.


His memberships have included the American Arbitration Association, the American Bar Association, the American Judicature Society, the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Conference of State Trial Judges, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, the Philadelphia Bar Association, and the Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia.


He also sat on the Philadelphia Fellowship Committee and the Judicial Council of the National Bar Association.
