The Hon. Paul J. McCallum is an associate justice of the Dedham District Court in Massachusetts. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Jane Swift in 2002.
Prior to his appointment, McCallum was a partner at Flanagan, Hern & McCallum, a law firm he joined in 1998. Before that, he practiced at Driscoll & Kober (1994 to 1998).
McCallum earned a bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University in 1978. He then completed a J.D. at Suffolk University Law School in 1982.
After graduating from law school, McCallum began his legal career as an assistant district attorney for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. He served in that capacity until 1985, at which time he entered into private practice at White, Inker & Aronson.
His memberships have included the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
