The Hon. Paul J. McCallum is an associate justice of the Dedham District Court in Massachusetts. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Jane Swift in 2002.
McCallum earned a bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University in 1978. He then completed a J.D. at Suffolk University Law School in 1982.
After graduating from law school, McCallum began his legal career as an assistant district attorney for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. He served in that capacity until 1985, at which time he entered into private practice as an associate at Driscoll & Kober and White, Inker & Aronson. Then, in 1998, he became a partner at Flanagan, Hern & McCallum.
His memberships have included the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
