Biography

The Hon. Michaelle Gonzalez-Paulson is a judge for the Miami-Dade County Court in Florida. She was elected to the bench in 2010.

Gonzalez-Paulson earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida International University in 1999. She then completed a J.D. at St. Thomas University School of Law in 2001. She is admitted to practice in Florida (2002), the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida (2003), and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida (2003).

After graduating from law school, Gonzalez-Paulson worked as a staff attorney for the Dade Legal Aid. She also spent time as a sole practitioner in her own private practice, handling family law, divorce, and domestic violence matters.

Gonzalez-Paulson was born in Miami, Florida.
