Biography

The Hon. Michael A. Fagalde is a judge for the Mariposa County Superior Court in California. He was elected to the bench in 2014.

Judge Fagalde received his B.S. from San Jose State University in 1975. He graduated with his master's degree from Walden University. He earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1983.

Prior to his election to the bench, Fagalde was practicing as a partner at Fagalde, Albertoni, and Flores LLP.

During his tenure on the bench, Judge Fagalde has served as the Presiding Judge of the Court. He was also instrumental in helping to establish the Behavior Health Court in Mariposa County in 2017 and served as its presiding judge.

His memberships have included the Mariposa Rotary Club, the Mariposa County Bar Association, the John C. Fremont Hospital Foundation, and the Mariposa School Foundation.

He was named Best Attorney by the Mariposa Gazette.
