Biography

Hon. Mark E. Singerton is a judge for the Riverside County Superior Court in California. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Gavin Newsom in 2021, filling the vacancy of a new position.

During his judicial tenure, Singerton has presided over felony and misdemeanor cases.

Prior to his appointment, he was a managing supervising deputy district attorney with the Riverside County District Attorney's Office, having held the position since 2008. Singerton began there as a deputy district attorney in 2001.

He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. Singerton went on to complete a J.D. at Loyola Law School. He was admitted to practice in California in 2001.

Singerton, who registered without party preference, resided in Yorba Linda at the time of his appointment.
