Judge Mark B. Greenberg: Professional Background and Legal Expertise

The Hon. Mark B. Greenberg (Ret.) served as a judge for the County Court at Law No. 5 in Dallas County, Texas. Greenberg was elected to the bench in 2002 and re-elected in 2006, 2010, 2014, and 2018. He resigned on July 31, 2021.

Prior to his election, Greenberg served as a magistrate for the Dallas County District Courts as well as a staff attorney for the Texas Fifth District Court of Appeals. He has also worked as an attorney in private practice.

Greenberg earned a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1988. He is Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

His memberships have included the board of the Dallas Bar Association Community Service Fund, an organization tasked with recruiting, training, and supporting attorneys who provide free legal services to Dallas County residents.

He was named Trial Judge of the Year by the American Board of Trial Advocates.

Greenberg is registered as a Democrat.
