The Hon. Marc F. Lovecchio is a judge for the Lycoming County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He was elected to the bench on November 3, 2009.
Lovecchio is the Administrative Judge for the Adult Probation Office. He also presides over the 24/7 Sobriety Program, the Mental Health Forensic Review Team, the High School Attendance Improvement Court, the Medication Assisted Treatment Court, and the Underage Drinking Court.
Prior to his election, Lovecchio was a partner at Campana, Lovecchio & Morrone, a position he held since 1988. Before that, he practiced at Tucker Arensberg in Pittsburgh, handling civil defense and employment and labor law matters.
Lovecchio earned a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University in 1980. He then completed a J.D. at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1984. As a law student, he was the Editor of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review.
His memberships have included the National Judicial Opioid Task Force, the Pennsylvania Conference of State Trial Judges, and the Balls Mills Soccer Club. He is also a member of St. Joseph, the Worker Parish in Williamsport.
He is a recipient of the Golden Crowbar Award from the Pennsylvania Conference of State Trial Judges (2021).
Lovecchio relocated to Williamsport with his wife, Angela, a Guardian Ad Litem for dependent children, in 1987. They have three children, one of which is a public defender in Alaska.
