Judge Lindsey D. Cotterell: Professional Background and Legal Expertise

Biography

Hon. Lindsey D. Cotterell is a commissioner for the Cowlitz County Superior Court in Washington.

In addition to his role as a court commissioner, Cotterell has also sat as a part-time pro tem judge for the Cowlitz County Superior Court.

He received a B.A. from Seattle Washington in 1972. Cotterell then completed a J.D. at Gonzaga University School of Law in 1975.

When not on the bench, he operates his own private solo practice in Longview. His practice there includes wills, estates, powers of attorney, probate and personal injury matters as well as mediation.
