Biography

Hon. Lindsay R. Partridge is a judge for the 3rd Judicial District Circuit Court of Oregon in Marion County. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor John Kitzhaber in 2012, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. John B. Wilson (Ret.).

Prior to his appointment, Partridge presided as a pro tem judge with the 3rd Judicial District Circuit Court (2009 to 2011) and managed his own private practice, Lindsay R. Partridge, P.C., in Salem (1994 to 2012). At his law firm, he handled juvenile law matters, including delinquency, dependency, termination of parental rights, and juvenile guardianship and adoption cases.

Partridge previously sat as a pro tem judge for the City of Salem Municipal Court (1998 to 2005) and was an attorney at Kaino, Jones & Partridge, P.C. (1991 to 1994).

He received a B.S. in political science from Willamette University in 1986. Partridge went on to complete a J.D. at Willamette University College of Law in 1989.

He is a past president of the Marion County Bar Association and served as chairperson of the Criminal Law Section of the Oregon State Bar. He was also a former team leader for the Willamette Valley American Inns of Court and a member of the Marion County Commission for Children and Families and the Marion County Juvenile Advocacy Consortium.

Partridge attended Lebanon Union High School.
