Biography

The Hon. Linda Ann Rodriguez (Ret.) served as a judge for the Hays County Court at Law No. 2 in Texas. Rodriguez was initially elected to the bench in 1990 and retired after losing her reelection campaign to the Hon. David S. Glickler in 2014. She continues to preside as a certified mediator as well as a visiting judge for the Hays County Court.
Over the course of her judicial career, Rodriguez was the designated juvenile judge for Hays County. She also served as the chairman of the Hays County Juvenile Board as well as a member of the Hays County Bail Bond Board.
Rodriguez earned a bachelors degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin in 1978. Then, in 1982, she completed a J.D. at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law.
Her memberships have included the Hays County Womens Political Caucus, the Rotary Club of Kyle, the Texas Judicial Council, and the Texas Indigent Defense Commission. She has also served as vice president of the Board of Directors of the LBJ Museum of San Marcos.
