Judge Les Hatch - Professional Background & Legal Expertise

Biography

The Hon. Les Hatch is a judge for the 237th District Court of Texas in Lubbock County. He joined the bench in 2009.

Before presiding over the bench, Hatch worked as an attorney with the firm Mayfield, Crutcher & Sharpee, LLP, where he specialized in family, commercial, litigation, and personal injury law.

Hatch graduated with a B.A. from Texas A&M University. He then went on to earn his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1988.

He has taught as an adjunct professor at Texas Tech University School of Law. His memberships have included the Board of the Lubbock Methodist Hospital System and Covenant Hospital Foundation. He has also served as chairman of the United Way Annual Fund Drive Legal Division.

Hatch is a registered Republican.
