Judge Len A. Wade - Professional Background & Legal Expertise

Biography

The Hon. Len A. Wade (Ret.) served as a judge for the 141st District Court in Tarrant County, Texas. Wade was elected to the bench in 2002 and re-elected in 2006. He retired in 2009.

After his retirement, Wade returned to private practice, working as a partner at Kelly Hart & Hallman (2009 to 2018) and Jackson Walker (2018 to present). His practice focuses on complex litigation, mediation, and arbitration. He has also taught as an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University School of Law.

Wade earned a B.A. in political science and government from Abilene Christian University. He then completed a J.D. at Baylor Law School. As a law student, Wade served as the executive editor of the

Baylor Law Review.

After graduating from law school, Wade entered into private practice, where he represented plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal court litigation for fifteen years.

His memberships have included the Association of Attorney-Mediators, the Commercial Panel of Neutrals for the American Arbitration Association, the Eldon B. Mahon American Inn of Court, the Business Torts Subcommittee of the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association, and the Planning Board for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association.

He received an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings.
