Biography

The Hon. Kathleen T. Hessinger is a judge for the Pinellas County Court in the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida.

Hessinger has held assignments in the Civil, Family, and Criminal Divisions.

Prior to joining the bench, Hessinger practiced as an attorney at Harris, Barrett, Mann & Dew, where she handled negligence, insurance, securities, tax-exempt bonds syndications, banking, real estate, probate, estate planning, trusts, corporations, bankruptcy, medical malpractice, and products liability matters.

She attended Florida Southern College, where she received a B.A. in 1987. Hessinger went on to earn a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 1990.

Hessinger taught trial practice as an adjunct professor at Stetson University College of Law and legal research as an instructor for paralegals at St. Petersburg Junior College.

She was born in Boynton Beach, Florida.
