The Hon. Julia M. Brouillette is a judge for the Oneida County Family Court in the Fifth Judicial District of New York. She was elected to the Family Court bench in 2015.
She is a registered Republican.
Judge Brouillette graduated with her B.A. in East Asian Studies from Oberlin College in 1986. She went on to earn her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 1998.
After graduating from law school, Brouillette joined the Harris County District Attorney’s Office in Houston, Texas, where she worked as an assistant district attorney for two years.
In 2004, Brouillette began working as a court attorney with the Oneida County Family Court until 2006, when she became a court attorney referee for the Family Court. She was serving in that position at the time of her election to the same court.
Judge Brouillette was born in Rome, New York.
