The Hon. Joseph A. Poblick is a judge for the Pasco County Court in the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Rick Scott in 2016.
Prior to his appointment, Poblick was a city attorney for Port Richey and New Port Richey. He also spent over ten years as a city attorney for Zephyrhills and was a magistrate in New Port Richey, where he handled red-light camera ticket matters and code enforcement cases.
Poblick received a B.A. (1997) and an M.P.A. from the University of South Florida. He went on to complete a J.D. at Loyola Law School in 2001.
He was admitted to practice in Florida (2001); Louisiana (2002); the District of Columbia (2004); the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida; the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana; the United States District Court for the District of Columbia; the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and Fifth Circuit; and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
