Biography

Hon. Jana Kay Wallace is an associate district judge for the Pushmataha County District Court (District 17) in Oklahoma. She was appointed to the bench by former Governor Brad Henry in 2009, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Lowell Burgess, Jr. (deceased).

Prior to her appointment, Wallace was a private practice attorney and also worked as an assistant district attorney in Pushmataha County. Her private practice included handling civil cases.

She received a bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Wallace went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
