Biography

Hon. Henry P. Butehorn is a judge for the Vicinage 9 Superior Court in Monmouth County in New Jersey. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Chris Christie in 2016.

During his judicial tenure, Butehorn has held assignments in the Family Division (2016 to 2019) and Civil Division (2019 to present) in Monmouth County.

He completed a J.D. at Widener University, Delaware Law School. Butehorn was admitted to practice in New Jersey in 1998.

Prior to joining the judiciary, he was an attorney in the law firm of Ronan, Tuzzio & Giannone.

At the time of his appointment, Butehorn resided in Middletown Township.
