Biography

Hon. Gregory J. Styduhar is a judge for the 10th Judicial District Court of Colorado. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Jared Polis on December 16, 2019, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Jill S. Mattoon (Ret.).

The 10th Judicial District includes Pueblo County.

During his judicial tenure, Styduhar has served as the Chief Judge of the 10th Judicial District since his appointment to the position in 2023. His caseload includes civil and domestic relations matters. Prior to his appointment, Styduhar presided as a district court magistrate for the 10th Judicial District Court since 2017.

Before that, he was an associate at Koncilja & Koncilja, P.C.; an assistant city attorney for the City of Pueblo; and a county attorney for the Pueblo County Attorney’s Office.

He received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Southern Colorado. Styduhar went on to complete a J.D. at Creighton University School of Law in 2003.

He also attended Central High School.

Styduhar and his wife have four children.
