The Hon. Gregory A. Pulskamp is a judge for the Superior Court of Kern County in California. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Jerry Brown on June 1, 2018, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. William D. Palmer.
Pulskamp earned a B.S. from Boston College. He then completed a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1993.
He began his legal career as an associate at Clifford & Brown in 1993.
Three years later, he left the firm and joined the Office of the District Attorney of Kern County. He entered as a deputy district attorney, eventually rising to supervising deputy district attorney in 2014. During his tenure there, he handled civil and criminal cases. He also supervised white-collar crime cases.
Pulskamp is the first Muslim-American to serve as a judge for the Superior Court of Kern County.
He is registered without party preference.
