Biography

Hon. Glenn Kelley is a judge for the 15th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida in Palm Beach County. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Jeb Bush in 2006.

During his judicial tenure, Kelley has held assignments in the Criminal and Civil Divisions and served as the administrative judge of both divisions. He later began a tenure as the Chief Judge of the 15th Judicial Circuit after being selected for the two-year term in 2021. Kelley was selected for his second term as Chief Judge in 2023.

He received a B.A. from the University of Florida in 1979. Kelley then completed a J.D. at the University of Florida, Fredric G. Levin College of Law, in 1981.

Shortly after graduating from law school, Kelley entered private practice, where he would remain until his appointment to the bench. He began his legal career with Gunster, Yoakley, Criser & Stewart, P.A. in 1982. Three years later, Kelley established his own firm, continuing in that capacity for two years. He later became a partner at Broome & Kelley, P.A. (1987 to 1989); Broome, Kelley & Aldrich, P.A. (1989 to 1993); Broome, Kelley, Aldrich & Warren, P.A. (1993 to 1994); Kelley, Aldrich & Warren, P.A. (1994 to 1998); and Kelley & Warren, P.A. (1999 to 2006).
