Biography

The Hon. Geri Pinzur Rosenberg is an associate judge on the Circuit Court of Cook County in Illinois. Rosenberg was appointed to the bench in 2019.

During her judicial tenure, Rosenberg has held assignments in the First Municipal District, the Domestic Violence Division, and the Domestic Relations Division.

She received a B.F.A. in art history from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2000. Rosenberg went on to complete a J.D. at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law, in 2003. She was admitted to practice in Illinois (2003).

After graduating from law school, she joined the Chicago Transit Authority. During her tenure, Rosenberg rose through the ranks to become chief attorney of the Tort Litigation Division.

She received the Illinois Jury Verdict Reporter’s Trial Lawyer Excellence Award (2014) and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois Top Women Lawyers in Leadership Award. Rosenberg was also involved with the Women Everywhere: Partners in Service Project.
