Biography

Hon. Erin E. McCarthy is a family magistrate for the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court in the Fifth Judicial Circuit of Maryland.

Over the course of her legal career, McCarthy also practiced as an attorney in the law firm of Buck, Migdal & Myers, Chtd. Her areas of practice included real estate, insurance defense, civil litigation, and estate planning.

She received a B.A. from La Salle University in 2005. McCarthy went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Baltimore School of Law (2008) and an M.B.A. from the University of Baltimore (2009).

Her memberships have included the Anne Arundel County Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association.
