Hon. Danielle P. Gaughan is a judge for the Marion County Superior Court in Indiana. She was appointed to the bench by Governor Eric Holcomb in 2022, filling the vacancy created by the resignation of the Hon. Mark A. Jones (Ret.).
Gaughan has held an assignment in the Family Division. Prior to her appointment, she presided as a magistrate in the Family Divison of the Marion County Superior Court, having worked as a judicial officer there since 2002.
Before joining the bench, Gaughan was an attorney and supervisor with the Marion County Public Defender Agency and worked in private practice.
She received a B.A. from DePauw University. Gaughan went on to complete a J.D. at Indiana University, Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1984.
