Biography

The Hon. Daniel K. Chester is a commissioner for the Sonoma County Superior Court in California.

Chester earned a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento. He then completed a J.D. at the University of San Francisco School of Law. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1989.

After graduating from law school, Chester entered into private practice. He specialized in family and juvenile dependency matters, supplementing his practice with service as a mediator and a child custody recommending counsel for the Sonoma County Superior Court.
