Biography

The Hon. Corey Amanda Cawthon is a judge for the Broward County Court in Florida. She was elected to the bench in 2018.

Prior to her election, Cawthon was an associate with the Andrew M. Schwartz Legal Team.

Cawthon earned a bachelor's degree in legal studies from Nova Southeastern University in 2008. She then completed a J.D. at Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law, in 2011.

She was admitted to the State Bar of Florida in 2011.

Her election campaign received endorsements from the Broward County Council of Professional Firefighters, the Fraternal Order of Police, and SAVE Action PAC
