The Hon. Christopher J. Evans (Ret.) served as a commissioner for the Orange County Superior Court in California. Evans was appointed to the bench on August 23, 2004.
Prior to his appointment, Evans worked as the Executive Director of the Surfrider Foundation. Before that, he spent sixteen years with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. During his tenure there, he served as Senior Assistant District Attorney for Felony Operations, directing the Major Offenses Division.
Evans earned a bachelor’s degree from Western State University. He then completed a J.D. at Western State College of Law.
On May 21, 2007 a case was filed in the jurisdiction of Orange County. Judge Christopher J. Evans presiding.
