Biography

Hon. Christopher A. Hackman is a judge for the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He was elected to the bench in 2007.

At the time of his election, Hackman had worked as an assistant district attorney with the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office for fourteen years. During his tenure there, he was head of the Gang Prosecution Unit.

He received a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College in 1987. Hackman went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Richmond School of Law in 1990.

His civic involvement included KidsSafe, the Lititz Springs Park Board, and the Warwick Education Foundation.

Hackman graduated from Manheim Central High School.

He is registered as a Republican.
