Biography

Hon. Christian A. Jenkins is a judge for the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas (General Division) in Ohio. He was elected to the bench on November 3, 2020.

Jenkins received a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University. He went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1994.

Prior to joining the judiciary, Jenkins had practiced as an attorney since 1995.

He began his legal career as an attorney in the labor and employment litigation departments of a large Milwaukee law firm before moving to Cincinnati in 1998.

At the time of his election, Jenkins was a managing partner at Minnillo & Jenkins, Co. LPA. He first joined the firm in 2007. His areas of practice included complex class action litigation and the representation of several public sector unions including employees of the City of Cincinnati and area school districts.

Before that, he was a managing partner at Mezibov & Jenkins, Co. LLP, where he had practiced since 2003.

His memberships have included the Ohio Association for Justice, the Cincinnati Bar Association, and the National Association of Consumer and Bankruptcy Attorneys.

Jenkins is a married father of two. Away from the bench, he enjoys competitive long-distance running.

He is registered as a Democrat.
