Judge C. Theodore Fritsch: Professional Background and Legal Expertise

Biography

The Hon. C. Theodore Fritsch is a judge for the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He was elected to the bench on November 2, 2003.


Prior to his election, Fritsch spent twenty-two years in the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office. During his tenure there, he specialized in white-collar, drug, and violent crimes, becoming the third prosecutor in Bucks County to win a death-penalty verdict. He then joined his father-in-law in private practice.


Fritsch earned a bachelor’s degree from Denison University in 1973. He then completed a J.D. at Penn State Dickinson Law in 1976.


His memberships have included the Bucks County Board of Elections.


He is registered as a Republican.
