The Hon. Bryan K. Stodghill is a judge for the Superior Court of San Bernardino County in California. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Jerry Brown on December 23, 2015, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Kenneth Barr.
Stodghill earned a B.A. from Azusa Pacific University. He then completed a J.D. from Drake University Law School.
He began his legal career as an associate at Borton, Petrini and Conron LLP in 2002. The following year, he left the firm and joined the United States Probation Office of the Central District of California as a pre-sentence writer. Then, in 2006, he accepted a position with the Office of the District Attorney of Riverside County. He served there as a deputy district attorney, eventually transferring to the Office of the District Attorney of San Bernardino County in 2008.
Stodghill was a resident of Claremont, California at the time of his appointment.
He is registered as a Democrat.
