Biography

The Hon. Beau G. Liegeois is a judge for the Brown County Circuit Court of Wisconsin. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Tony Evers on September 20, 2019, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. William M. Atkinson.

Prior to his appointment, Liegeois was an assistant district attorney for the Brown County District Attorney’s Office, a position to which he was named in 2008. Before that, he spent time with the Brown County Corporation Counsel’s Office (2007 to 2008).

Liegeois earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He then completed a J.D. at Valparaiso University School of Law.

His memberships have included the Association of State Prosecutors (president). He has also been involved with the Miracle League of Green Bay.

Raised in Brown County, Liegeois attended Green Bay West High School. He is a veteran of the Wisconsin Army National Guard, where he represented military personnel as a defense counsel (2010 to 2018).

He is registered as a Democrat.
