The Hon. Anthony P. Eppolito is a judge for the Oneida City Court in Madison County in the Sixth Judicial District of New York. He was originally elected to the seat in 1989 and was re-elected in 2014. During his tenure on the City Court, Judge Eppolito was elected to serve as an acting judge for the Madison County Court in 2014 and an acting judge for the Madison County Family Court in 2015.
He received his bachelor’s degree from St. Bonaventure University in 1975. He went on to earn his J.D. from Cornell Law School in 1978.
After graduating from law school, Eppolito began his legal career as a staff attorney with the Oneida County Legal Aid Society. He practiced there until going into solo practice in 1982, where he remained until then becoming a partner at Nemeti, McDermott, Eppolito, and Hedglon in 1987. Eppolito was serving in that capacity at the time of his election to the City Court in 1989.
