Judge Angela W. Sutkiewicz - Professional Background & Legal Expertise

Biography

Hon. Angela W. Sutkiewicz is a judge for the Sheboygan County Circuit Court in the Fourth Judicial District of Wisconsin. She was appointed to the bench by former Governor Jim Doyle in 2010, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Gary Langhoff (Ret.).

Prior to her appointment, Sutkiewicz served in both the public and private arenas. During that time, she worked as an assistant district attorney with the Walworth County District Attorney’s Office and as a private practice attorney.

Sutkiewicz received a bachelor’s degree from Barnard College. She went on to complete a J.D. at Marquette University Law School in 1986.

Sutkiewicz was named Trial Judge of the Year by the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates in 2021, becoming the first Sheboygan County judge to receive the award.

She resides in Sheboygan with her husband, Fred, and their three daughters.
