Biography

Hon. Ana C. Viscomi is a judge for the Vicinage 8 Superior Court in Middlesex County in New Jersey. She was appointed to the bench by former Governor Chris Christie in 2012.

Since her appointment, Viscomi has held assignments in the Civil (2012 and 2014 to present) and Family Divisions (2012 to 2014) in Middlesex County. In addition, she has presided over the state's mass tort asbestos litigation cases since 2014. Over ninety percent of the state’s centralized asbestos matters are handled in Middlesex County.

She received a B.S. from the University of Maryland in 1984. Viscomi went on to complete a J.D. at New York Law School in 1988.

At the time of her appointment, she resided in Red Bank, New Jersey.
