Biography

The Hon. Alycia M. Herriott is a judge for the 11th Judicial District Circuit Court of Oregon. She was appointed to the bench by former Governor Kate Brown in 2021.

The 11th Judicial District encompasses Deschutes County.

Prior to her appointment, Herriott was an associate at the Gilroy Napoli Short Law Group, specializing in DUI defense, criminal defense, personal injury, and victim’s rights matters since 2018. Before that, she spent time as a deputy district attorney for the Deschutes County District Attorney’s Office and the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office.

Herriott earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Oregon in 2005. She then completed a J.D. at Willamette University College of Law in 2008. She was admitted to the State Bar of Oregon in 2008.

Her memberships have included the New Lawyer Mentor Program and the Deschutes County Emerging Adult Program.

Herriott was raised in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
