              ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE AS TO DEFENDANT CHRISTOPHER P. HANCOCK

                THIS      CAUSE,      having come before the Court for a case management conference on

        August 27, 2021 and the Court having reviewed the file and being otherwise duly advised in the

        premises, hereby ORDERS AND ADJUDGES AS FOLLOWS:

                1         Defendant    Christopher P. Hancock   (“Hancock”)   failed to appear at the case

        management conference held on August 27, 2021, and it does not appear that Hancock conferred

        with the other parties regarding the contents of a Case Management Plan and Order as required by

        the Court’s Order Setting Case Management Conference and Discharging Order to Show Cause

        dated August 18, 2021 (the “Order Directing CMC”).

                2         Paragraph 2 of the Order Directing CMC stated in bolded and underlined language

        that failing to attend the case management conference or to comply with the other requirements of

        the Order Directing CMC may result in the imposition of sanctions, including without limitation,

        striking of pleadings, entry of default, dismissal of the action, an award of fees or costs, or other

        appropriate sanctions.
3         Defendant Christopher P. Hancock is hereby ORDERED                    TO SHOW           CAUSE

why he should not be sanctioned for failing to attend the August 27, 2021 case management

conference and to confer with the other parties regarding the content of a Case Management Plan

and Order as required by the Order Directing CMC. A telephonic show cause hearing is scheduled

for September 23, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. using the following dial-in information:

8020; Participant code: 596203#. At the time of the hearing, the parties/attomeys/court reporter
should call the above number to join the conference.

            Conference Call Notes:

            this conference call.

            Please mute your telephone until your case is called.
       4.      Hancock’s failure to attend the show cause hearing or to show adequate cause

may result in the imposition of sanctions, including, but not limited to, striking of pleadings

and entry of default without further notice or hearing, assessment of fees or costs, or other

appropriate sanctions.

       5      If Hancock intends to file a written response or any documents in connection with

this Order to Show Cause, any such response or documents must be filed at least three (3) business

days before the hearing.   The other parties to this action may, but are not required to, attend the

hearing and/or file their own responses for the Court’s consideration.
