CASE MANAGEMENT CONTERENCE AI\ID STATUS IIEARING
Pursuant to Fla. R. Civ. P. 1.200(a) this matter is set for both a Case Management
Conference and a Status Hearing to facilitate the orderly and timely preparation for the trial of
the above matter and to assure the timely commencement and completion of the trial of this
cause. All parties are bound by this Order and any orders arising from this Case Management
Conference and Status Hearing including, but not limited to, the any Pre-frial Order that has been
or will be issued.
Accordingly, it is Ordered as follows:
l- The Case Management Conference and Status Conference in this matter will occur on
July 17,2020 commencing at l1:00 a.m. in Hearing Room l78 located in the Orange County
Courthouse,425 N. Orange Avenue, Florida, 32801 and continue until such time as all matters
have been resolved. Attorneys must appear via ZOOM, see infonnation at the end of this order.
The time allotted for this maffer is 30 minutes. Should any counsel believe more time is
necessary, the Judicial Assistant should be contacted immediately.
2. A copy of Orange County Division 37 Courtroom Guidelines, Procedures and
Expectations is available at httn://ninthcircuit.orey'iudees/circuit iudees/iohn kest.shtml in

order to assist counsel and the parties. The parties and counsel are expected to have reviewed
these Guidelines prior to their attendance at the Case Management Conference.
3. The attorneys that will actually be trying this case are ordered to attend this Case
Management Conference and Statrs Hearing- Counsel are to have with them their calendars to
facilitate the setting, or re-setting, of the pre-trial and trial dates as well as any hearings at times
where conflicts will not exist.
The individual Plaintiff(s) and Defendan(s) may be excused from attendance, if
represented by counsel, and if counsel has consulted with his/her clien(s) regarding the
potential witnesses and discovery that will be necessary in preparation for and
presentation of the trial.l
4. At the conferencelhearing counsel shall be prepared to discuss all matters related to
the trial and preparation therefor, including butnot limited to, the following:

F. Pleadings and Parties: Discuss the Status of the pleadings
and detennine if all proper parties to the cause have been joined.
