PLAINTIFF'S MOTION FOR DEFAULT JUDGMENT
COMES NOW, Plaintiff, pursuant to O.C.G.A § 9-1 1-55 and U.S.C.R. 15, and hereby
moves this Honorable Court t0 enter judgment by default against Defendant. Plaintiff shows the
Court that Defendant was served with the Summons and Compiaint effective April 6, 201 8.
Defendant has failed to file an Answer or other defensive pleadings and fifteen (15) days have
elapsed from the date of default and the default has not been opened as a matter of right or by order
of the Court. Plaintiff’s Order for Judgment Certificate is attached hereto as an Exhibit and a
proposed Order is included for the Court’s convenience.
WHEREFORE, Plaintiffmoves the Court to enterjudgment in Plaintiff s favor and against
Defendant in the principal sum of $24,000.00, plus post—judgment interest pursuant t0 O.C.G.A. §
7-4-12 at the legal rate from the date ofjudgment and ail costs of this action.
