J am writing in response to a summons that I received on 2007SC003534SC. Iam
disputing this debt. In 2005 I was taken to court for my Colonial Credit/ Household
Orchard Bank. All the correspondence was listed with the account # 5489555 108094279
and the file number 3000048411.001 case number# 2005 SC 003143SC. I was
summoned to court on 08/03/05 and it was ordered by the court for me to pay $60.00 on
the 15" of each. On November the 9" in 2005 I contacted the law offices of Zakheim and
Associates for a settlement on behalf of the company and I was given a settlement
amount of $1160.00. I paid this amount by check which I have enclosed a copy of the
check that was addressed to the attorney’s office.
I am asking that I be furnished with proof of a second account being opened in my name.
I have contacted Assest Acceptance and they are stating that a second account was
opened in my name. I only had one account in which I have settled and paid out in 2005.
Over the last two years I was contacted by this company several times regarding this
account and I have called them numerous times and told them that I have paid this
account off. On May of 2007 before the account was sold again to Assest Acceptance I
received a letter from Orchard bank ref#5489555108094279 and that is the same ref
number on the account paid to Zakheim and Associates in 2005.
I am disputing this debt until I have been furnished proof that I owe it.
